Led by Pascal Maitre, this workshop offers an immersion into the practice of photojournalism and colour reportage. Over four days, participants develop their documentary eye and explore how colour can strengthen the reading of an image, reveal an atmosphere or convey the energy of a place.
In Venice — an ideal playground thanks to its light and its contrasts — participants photograph, experiment and refine their approach through ongoing exchanges with Pascal Maitre. The workshop covers the different stages of documentary work, from observation in the field to image selection, with particular attention to the coherence of a photographic series.
The course concludes with a collective presentation of the work produced during the workshop.
