Portrait and storytelling
Festival Workshop
Sale price€1.490,00 Finance my workshop

For four days, Venice becomes the setting for a sensitive kind of photography, where portrait and visual storytelling echo one another.

This workshop is an invitation to refine your eye, to bring more depth to your portraits, and to turn each image into a true fragment of a story.

Through shooting sessions and discussions, you will learn to build images that tell a story: asserting your intention, mastering composition with light, colour and line, creating a relationship of trust with your subject, and developing a coherent visual narrative across a series of photographs.

Bio

Philanthropist, idealist, humanist, Reza's career began with architectural studies. He became a renowned photojournalist and has worked all over the world over the last three decades, notably for National Geographic.

His assignments have taken him to over a hundred countries as a witness to humanity's conflicts and disasters. His work has been featured in the international media (National Geographic, Time Magazine, Stern, Newsweek, El País, Paris Match, Geo...), as well as in a series of books, exhibitions and documentaries.

Alongside his work as a photographer, in 2001 he founded a new-generation NGO in Afghanistan, Ainaworld, which trains people in information and communication skills through the development of educational tools and adapted media.
